Online Group Psychotherapy

Most people think of therapy as something you do one-to-one. But group psychotherapy can be just as powerful — and in many cases, even more helpful.

Groups are especially valuable for people who feel alone, anxious with others, or unsure how they fit in relationships. In a group, you have the chance to be supported, understood and gently challenged in ways that individual therapy can't always offer.

Many people join a group because they feel stuck, disconnected or dissatisfied in their lives. They may struggle to form close relationships, or simply want to understand themselves better in relation to others.

What group therapy helps with

Group-analytic psychotherapy offers space to:

  • Talk honestly and openly about feelings

  • Receive and offer support

  • Improve communication and confidence

  • Understand how you relate to others

  • Explore different sides of your identity

  • Learn from the experiences and insights of the group

  • Develop a stronger sense of self-esteem and stability

It can be helpful for:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Relationship or personality patterns

  • Eating difficulties

  • Sexuality or gender concerns

  • Trauma, stress and abuse

  • Loss and bereavement

  • A general sense of feeling "stuck" or dissatisfied

"I'm not sure about being with strangers…"

Almost everyone feels worried about joining a group.

But people quickly discover that this is where the real value lies.
We are social beings, and so much of our emotional life happens in groups — families, friendships, workplaces.

Group therapy offers a safe, confidential and professionally guided space to explore these patterns. Over time, the group becomes a place of connection, insight and genuine emotional growth.

How the online group works

  • Small group: maximum of eight people

  • Meets once a week, same day and time

  • Held in a private online room

  • Open to people worldwide

  • Confidential and professionally facilitated

To protect the space, members are encouraged not to meet socially outside the group.

Group therapy is supportive, but there will be moments that feel challenging — and these are often the moments with the most potential for change.
